OHSU Library Welcomes New Librarian

Basia

The OHSU Library is pleased to welcome Basia Delawska-Elliott as our newest Health Sciences Education and Research Librarian.  Prior to joining the OHSU Library team, Basia was a medical librarian at Providence St. Joseph Health where she used her expertise to support clinicians with their information and research needs, and engaged students in learning more advanced searching skills.

Basia’s professional and research interests include supporting the Nursing Magnet recognition process, facilitating the transition of research skills to support clinical practice, and measuring and promoting the value of libraries and librarians in health care settings.

Basia’s arrival strengthens the Library’s support of teaching, learning, research, and clinical care here at OHSU.  She is excited to collaborate with her colleagues to provide services and curriculum-focused instruction to enable the discovery, critical evaluation, management, and dissemination of biomedical information.

Please join us in welcoming Basia to OHSU.  You can email Basia directly or visit the Library’s website to contact or schedule an appointment with an OHSU Librarian.
