Dr. Lynda Yang will speak on the legacy of Augusta Dejerine-Klumpke, a pioneering woman in neurology. From Dejerine-Klumpke’s contributions to neuroanatomy and neurology and to women in medicine, her achievements as an independent researcher, scientific collaborator, and physician are remarkable not only for a woman of her era, but for a scientist and physician of the highest caliber.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served before the lecture.
