You are invited to BioData Club’s November workshop, Data Storytelling: Making Effective Figures.
In this workshop, instructor Ted Laderes will guide attendees through data storytelling principles and how to put them into practice in R. However, these principles can be applied in nearly any data visualization program, such as Excel or Tableau. The session will start with a basic plot, which attendees will improve through a series of hands-on exercises.
If you are new to R, don’t worry! This short tutorial in the R-Bootcamp series will catch you up.
Attendees should bring a laptop and register in advance: http://bit.ly/bdc_story. Detailed instructions for preparing for the workshop are available at the RSVP link.
All OHSU community members and friends are welcome!
