I was wondering if possible for electronic access to text (required text for [redacted] course and I am interested in possibly using a couple chapters in an another course). Thanks! Thank you for reaching out. The Library is happy to purchase texts for OHSU education needs and we generally purchase requested titles in electronic format with as much access as possible within our budget. Health Systems Science, 2nd ed. is not available in electronic format at this time, so we will purchase a print copy and work with you to use our course reserves service described below. For future purchase requests, we encourage all instructors to use the Suggest a Purchase form and include the course name/number, school/program and the anticipated number of students. This input goes directly to Library Acquisitions and the details will help expedite your request.
If you would like to place content from this text on Course Reserve—whether in print for students to borrow or electronic format for students to access via the Sakai Learning Management System—please fill out the Course Reserve form for each course for which you intend to use the material. Please indicate that you have already requested that the item be purchased. Library staff considers copyright law when working with instructors to place course reserve materials in Sakai and follows an internal process to make a fair use determination, which guides any needed actions or additional purchases. Please contact the Library if you have questions or need more information.
