Can we please make access to the e-library for OHSU alumni graduates? […] other schools offer the same thing to their graduates, even if the graduated student pays a fee. It will really help us. Thanks
Thank you for your suggestion to add access for OHSU alumni to electronic resources. Unfortunately, alumni are not included on our licenses with vendors due to the costs. We appreciate your willingness to consider a fee-based approach however we are not pursuing this approach due to vendor restrictions and pricing. Although we cannot provide you direct access to the resources, the OHSU library team is always available to alumni to help with searching the literature and finding good information.
If you are a licensed healthcare provider in Oregon, you have access to the Access Medicine e-book collection and if you are an Oregon-licensed MD or DO you also have access to an article delivery service. These resources are made possible through Oregon Medical Board license fees. You can learn more about access to these resources on this page. A fee-based article delivery service is available to non-physicians which you can learn more about here.
If you have further questions about electronic resources please reach out to Kristi DeShazo, Director of Collection Management.
