As we begin phased reopening, the 3rd floor Library service hours will be 10:00 am–3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Books and equipment can be picked up without an appointment at the Library’s Service Desk during our open hours. Our BICC 4th floor 24-hour space, including reservable rooms, continues to be accessible 24/7 via badge swipe to all OHSU members. In order to manage capacity and reduce risk to our staff and our users, the Library’s 2nd floor spaces will remain closed during this first phase of our reopening process. Note that the BICC building will remain locked and require an OHSU badge swipe for entry. Non-OHSU members seeking access to the Library’s health information resources may make an appointment; please contact us with your needs.
Onsite services, such as curbside pickup, will continue to be available by appointment outside of these hours. To pick up a book or piece of equipment outside of our open hours, please contact us to arrange pickup or to use one of our after-hours pickup boxes.
Library services and resources are still available virtually! Contact us or schedule an appointment to get personalized assistance from library experts. OHSU librarians and staff are available to address and support your information needs, including literature searching, citation management, data management, publishing, and historical research. Use Library Search to discover articles, books, and more, and access online resources 24/7. And our Get It For Me service provides no-cost access to materials the Library doesn’t own.
Group rooms are available 24/7 at the Graduate Learning Resource Center for students and staff with programs in the Robertson Life Sciences Building (RLSB). These are also available for reservation —please make sure you have access to that space before reserving a room.
In August, we will evaluate the onsite needs of OHSU members and will likely extend our open hours. We plan to return to full onsite operating hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm) on September 20.
