Student microwave & mini fridge please!!!

We really need a student microwave like we have at the RLSB student lounge to accommodate commuting students’ needs for packing lunches & not purchasing lunch.

Thank you for these related suggestions.  While we agree that a microwave and a refrigerator would be helpful for all OHSU members who do not have them in the buildings where they study or work, we have considered this request before and do not think the Library is the right location for food storage and preparation.

The closest microwaves to the BICC are in Mac Hall. We confirmed with OHSU Facilities that area is open to all OHSU members now; enter through the Research courtyard with an OHSU badge.

We will help Library users find microwaves and refrigerators across OHSU by posting the Food Resource Guide’s list of microwave and refrigerator locations on our bulletin boards on all our floors. Please be aware that not all campus buildings are unlocked during OHSU’s current modified operations.  We will also share your requests with the Student Health Advisory Committee so they are aware of your need for a closer refrigerator and microwave as they consider future locations.
