Have you considered a subscription to https://www.jwatch.org/ ? They have high quality information that is easily absorbed by busy clinicians.
Thank you for submitting your request for NEJM Journal Watch through the Suggestion Box and the Suggest a Purchase link. The Library will investigate the options for accessing the journal and the cost of purchasing a subscription. We will look at several metrics including how many interlibrary loan requests we have received, turnaway data if it is available, how many articles have been authored by OHSU, impact metrics, and whether other OHSU faculty, staff and student have requested the title over the past few years.
A similar resource you might consider and which the Library already provides is the ACP Journal Club, a monthly feature of the Annals of Internal Medicine which also provides assessment of medical literature and studies from over 120 clinical journals.
If you have further questions about electronic resources please reach out to Kristi DeShazo, Director of Collection Management.
Pretty much every TV in every room is broken. Please fix.
Thanks for letting us know you’re having trouble with the technology in the study rooms. We’ve identified a problem with a couple of HDMI cables in the rooms and will have those replaced shortly. We will also be looking at ways to make the cables more secure and less prone to damage.
In the future, it would be very helpful if you can include the room number(s) where you experience a problem. This will allow us to address the problem more quickly and with less disruption.
Please consider contacting us directly whenever you are experiencing a problem with Library equipment or spaces.
A microwave would be amazing!
This is a frequent request. The Library will not be adding a microwave–see our previous blog post for our reasoning. There are microwaves available in other buildings around campus. We have posted a list of their locations on each floor of the Library.
