VisualDx provides clinicians with images and information to assist with a successful diagnosis. Users can refine searches for conditions via various findings, including onset, patient appearance, and associated symptoms.
Recently, VisualDx has emphasized including a diverse variety of skin types. Their Skin of Color Atlas includes features to help diagnose patients with darker skin types. These features help address disparities that have long caused people with pigmented skin to face worse health outcomes than those with lighter skin.
VisualDx can be accessed from the Library’s home page under the quick links for clinicians or the A-Z Database List, where instructions for mobile access can be found.
