OHSU is searching for a new Director for CROET.
OHSU’s VP for Research, Dan Dorsa, selected a search committee to recommend candidates for consideration. The OHSU search committee members are: Tom Becker (Chair), Public Health and Preventive Medicine; Chuck Easterly, SAIF; Kent Anger, CROET; Rick Deyo, OCTRI Community and Practice-based Research Program; Dana Director, VP for OHSU Research Administration; Mary Heinricher, Neurological Surgery, OHSU; Molly Kulesz-Martin, Department of Dermatology, OHSU; Lillian Nail, School of Nursing, OHSU; Tom Soderling, Vollum Institute; Mary Stenzel-Poore, OHSU Molecular Microbiology & Immunology; Bradley Tebo, OHSU Division of Environmental & Biomolecular Systems.
To assist the process, Dr. Dorsa hired a science ‘headhunter’ who contacted about 180 sources and candidates; 6 were invited to submit vision statements and 4 were interviewed in person at OHSU.
The search committee has recommended 2 candidates to Dr. Dorsa. The candidates will give presentations at OHSU in Fall, 2011, and you will be invited when we establish the times for their visits. These candidates are now informing their colleagues of their interest in this position, as their recruitment was confidential up to this time. Once they have had time to inform their colleagues, we will make their candidacy public on this blog.
