Occupational Health Psychology Institute – A Success!

Hiking excursion at Multnomah Falls.

The first annual Occupational Health Psychology Summer Institute on Improving Worker Safety, Health and Well-Being was a terrific success! This year’s institute was presented by the Occupational Psychology Program at Portland State University, CROET, the Oregon Healthy WorkForce Center, and the Canadian Center for Occupational Health and Safety at St. Mary’s University.

Dr. Dov Zohar presents on Safety Climate.

The institute was attended by a mix of academic researchers and practitioners from around the world with topics ranging from safety climate, work organization, and stress, to employee health and the work family balance. It was particularly beneficial to share the differing perspectives found between researchers and practitioners.

Dr. Leslie Hammer addresses Work Family Balance.

Thanks to all of the speakers and attendees!
