1. Oregon Worker Memorial Day
   Fri., April 27, 11:30 AM, Capitol Mall, Salem OR. This powerful, somber event reminds us of why we do what we do, and how we need to do it better.
2. 10th Annual O[yes] High School Safety Video Contest Screening and Awards Ceremony
   Sat., April 28, 12:00-2pm at Northern Lights Theater, Salem OR. During this event, finalist video teams are invited to the stage to discuss the making of their video to an audience of sponsors, O[yes] supporters, teachers, friends and family. Even if you don’t plan to attend, learn about the winning videos on social media.
3. Safety Week Kickoff Event sponsored by SafeBuild Alliance
   Fri., May 4, 6:30-9:30 AM, World Forest Center, Portland OR. This annual breakfast kicks off the May 8-11, 2018 National Construction Safety Week.
4. Oregon Safety Break
   Wed., May 9 – all day. Organizations across Oregon honor safety leaders, hold a training, or get a conversation started about safety and health. Join OccHealthSci and other OHSU employees at the OHSU Safety Break Fair from 10 AM-1PM in the BICC Gallery. If you don’t work at OHSU, check into what your company has planned!
5. National Safety Stand Down to Prevent Falls in Construction
   May 7-11, 2018 – all week. Organizations across the country will be sharing information and tips to prevent falls. Our own OR-FACE will be supporting an event on May 11, 8 AM-2PM at Portland’s Sheet Metal Institute. Learn more.
6. 2nd International Symposium to Advance Total Worker Health
   May 8-11. National Institutes of Health Campus, Bethesda, MD. Join our Oregon Healthy Workforce Center, NIOSH, and other TWH Centers of Excellence and Affiliates as we share research and tips related to improving the health, safety and well-being of work. OHWC staff will be presenting and sharing toolkits and research in the exhibit area.
7. Spring Symposium – Pain at Work: How to prevent, recognize and treat
   Thurs., May 31, Wilsonville Holiday Inn, Wilsonville, OR. This full-day event is targeted toward occupational health researchers, occupational health and safety, wellness, well-being, human resource, and workers’ compensation professionals. Join us live or by webinar. Register now.
