Let’s build a culture of health, safety and well-being

Come Join Oregon Healthy Workforce Center at the 2020 Summer Institute in Occupational Health Psychology!

Building a Culture of Health, Safety, and Well-Being

Are you an organizational leader who likes to see employees enjoying their work? Are you a practitioner with a mission to maintain safe and healthy workplaces? Are you a workplace champion who thrives on creating positive work experiences for your colleagues? Or are you an academic who wants to find out how best to do all of the above?  We’ll address questions like these and more.

Featuring an excellent line-up of speakers from academia and industry, our event will include expert sessions with organizational leaders, practitioners in safety and wellness, and researchers in the area of Total Worker Health.

Our key focus will focus on:

  • Think Culture of Health, Safety, and Well-Being: Geared toward helping workplace leaders envision a culture of health, safety, and well-being, these sessions will highlight the evidence behind creating positive workplaces, share why a culture of well-being makes good business sense, and provide meaningful approaches toward growing such a culture.
  • Do Culture of Health, Safety, and Well-Being: Focused on best practices for building a culture of well-being, these sessions will address how practitioners, workplace champions, and employees can implement strategies for kickstarting and maintaining a culture of health, safety, and well-being.
  • In addition to expert sessions, attendees will benefit from the Total Worker Health 101 curriculum, a practitioner-focused workshop conducted by the Oregon Total Worker Health Alliance.
