Announcing Oregon Healthy Workforce Center’s annual report

Greetings from the Oregon Healthy Workforce Center! We’re thrilled to share our FY 21 annual report. This marks the final year of our 2016-2021 cycle, one filled with an array of activities pertinent to our work as a Total Worker Health® Center of Excellence.

We have much to report from the close-out year of our 5-year cycle. Among our accomplishments, we completed two large intervention studies that have led to worker safety, health, and well-being solutions for sedentary workers and truck drivers. Aside from research, we continued our robust outreach efforts, holding COVID Conversations to address changing needs of workers during the pandemic, expanded our Total Worker Health Alliance curriculum for practitioners, took a deep inward look into our organizational culture as we committed to integrating a diversity, equity, and inclusion-focused lens into our work, continued to disseminate our toolkits, and became successfully renewed for OHWC’s next cycle (2021-2026). So all in all, a wonderful conclusion to a busy and challenging yet rewarding and fulfilling grant cycle.

We’d like to thank you, our partners and supporters, for sharing your work experiences with us, giving us the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to worker well-being, and giving us the impetus to strive harder in our new cycle.

We invite you to read our report and reach out to us, tell us what you think! We’d love to hear how our work helps make a difference and which of our resources you find particularly useful. It’s been a great ride so far and we look forward to making meaningful strides toward advancing worker well-being.
