Upcoming continuing education for all

While the number of virtual online learning opportunities have expanded tremendously during the past two years, many of us are also eager to again attend events and courses in person. A wide assortment of free and low-cost in-person and virtual continuing education opportunities are readily available this spring and early summer.  We thought it might be helpful to summarize some of the offerings that may be of interest to both workplace professionals and researchers.

Northwest Safety & Health Summit by Region X VPPAA

This annual conference provides technical education on occupational safety and health as provided by Region 10 Voluntary Protection Program, Oregon OSHA and others. (TWH 101 will be taught at this conference.) Vendors and exhibitors will also be in attendance, including OccHealthSci and OHWC.

OH&S Industrial Hygiene Virtual Summit

Spring Symposium: From the Great Resignation to the Great Reconfiguration – Connecting Research and Practice
Provided by OccHealthSci and the Oregon Healthy Workforce Center, this full-day event will address how organizations can attract and retain employees. Targeted audience includes workplace and labor representatives, safety, health, wellbeing and human resource professionals, and researchers.

This annual conference provides technical education on occupational safety and health as provided by Oregon OSHA and others. Vendors and exhibitors will also be in attendance, including OccHealthSci and OHWC.
