We are excited to welcome Danielle Horgan to our Outreach team! Danielle serves as the Research Project Coordinator for our Respectful Workplace Resource Hub project in partnership with the Bureau of Labor and Industries and Oregon Department of Transportation. Danielle will be responsible for managing project deliverables, building relationships with key stakeholders, and translating research into practice. Danielle brings a wealth of experience in community outreach and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to joining the Institute, Danielle was a Public Health and Community Outreach Coordinator for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, where she coordinated vaccine clinics with community partners and developed tools to improve emergency preparedness. Danielle earned her Master of Public Health through the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Colorado and received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Oregon State University. During her time as a graduate student intern, Danielle conducted valuable research to inform the development of an assessment tool for assisted living and led stakeholder engagement efforts.
Outside of work, Danielle loves spending time with her husband and two dogs. She also enjoys creating digital art, baking, traveling, and spending time outdoors!
