The Christine Mirzayan Science & Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship Program offers scientists a chance to delve into the analytical process that informs U.S. science and technology policy. Graduate and professional school students and early career post-graduates (U.S. and non-U.S. citizens) are eligible to apply for these awards sponsored by the National Academies. The program is a hands-on training and educational fellowship consisting of a twelve-week session that takes place in Washington, D.C. Letters of reference for the Fall 2012 sessions are due April 27, 2012; the application is due May 1, 2012. A stipend of $8,240 is provided. Areas of study may include any social/behavioral science, medical/health discipline, physical or biological science, any field of engineering, law/business/public administration, or any relevant interdisciplinary field.
