New partnership between OHSU and The Vancouver Clinic

OHSU’s Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI) and The Vancouver Clinic, are pleased to announce collaboration between the two institutions to facilitate research studies.  The collaboration is intended to enhance the ability to perform clinical research activities supported by a variety of funding sources (e.g., NIH, industry). Processes at both institutions, including IRB review, access to costing information, and access to patients for recruitment, have been streamlined to allow efficient access better serve to patient’s populations and investigators at both sites.

The Vancouver Clinic is a large multispecialty outpatient medical practice in Vancouver, Washington, with Epic based electronic medical record and experience in patient-oriented research.

The partnership between OHSU and The Vancouver Clinic could provide several advantages for investigators, including:

  1. An additional population to expand recruitment opportunities for clinical studies
  2. A large primary and specialty care system for health systems research
