OHSU neuroscientist receives Presidential Early Career Award

Damien Fair, PA-C, Ph.D., an assistant professor of behavioral neuroscience and psychiatry and assistant scientist at the OHSU Advanced Imaging Research Center, has received a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers for 2013, the highest honor given by the U.S. government to early-stage independent scientists.

Dr. Fair received the award for his work on mapping and trying to better understand brain development in children with ADHD and autism. He is one of 102 researchers selected for the award nationally and one of only 20 NIH-funded scientists selected for the award in 2013.
