OHSU faculty member teaching oceanography in Antarctica

Joseph Needoba, Ph.D., an assistant professor in OHSU’s Institute of Environmental Health is currently in Antarctica teaching students about the impact humans have on marine life, and what this means for the future health of our oceans and planet. Needoba is one of 17 educators and specialists on the Students On Ice Antarctic Expedition.
