The OHSU Healthy Aging Alliance invites all students, clinicians, researchers, and anyone else who might some day be growing older to attend this conference in the Doernbecher Vey Auditorium from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2014. The conference, “Harnessing Science and Communities for Healthy Brain Aging,” will focus on methods for translating research to a public health message for Healthy Brain Aging, and to strengthen partnerships to truly transform the aging trajectory in Oregon.
The conference will feature a variety of research presentations, a panel on effective community strategies for healthy aging facilitated by PSU’s Institute on Aging, and a hosted poster session. In addition, keynote speaker Joe Quinn, M.D., professor of Neurology in the OHSU School of Medicine, will give his presentation: “Preventing Late Life Dementia: What Are We Waiting For?”
