OHSU-PSU Research Pilot Award for women’s health research

The BIRCWH (Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health) program announces a special $10,000 funding opportunity for OHSU and Portland State University investigators to conduct women’s health research collaboratively. The award is intended to support new or established research faculty interested in developing pilot data to prove feasibility of collaboration for larger federally or privately-funded research relating to women’s health and/or gender differences.

Potential applicant teams can propose projects across the full spectrum of research, including basic science, clinical investigation, information technology, health services, patient-centered outcomes, policy, public health, behavioral, and applied research. Applicant team must consist of at least one OHSU faculty member and one PSU faculty member. Proposals are due June 30. Download application instructions.
