Teams of students will develop proposals for building a community that works for graduate students at OHSU.

This Research Week event kicks off with an icebreaker on leadership and teamwork skills. The GradEd Innovation Challenge is designed to bring students together to tackle the challenge of evolving and expanding community during graduate school.

You need to sign up in advance to participate in the GradEd Challenge

Each student team will develop a proposal for building community, with support and guidance from a team of experts, that they will pitch to a panel of faculty judges on Wednesday afternoon. The goal will be to implement the winning proposal and start expanding the OHSU graduate community!

This workshop involves in-person participation on 2 days:

  • Monday, April 30, 2 – 3:30 p.m.: Form teams and brainstorm ideas
  • Wednesday, May 2, 4 – 5:30 p.m.: Pitch your ideas to the community during Research Week’s final afternoon
