Volunteers make Research Week happen!
Anyone at OHSU can volunteer at Research Week. It’s a great opportunity to meet people from other areas and see first-hand the scope and quality of the research conducted here every day. Plus, all volunteers, judges, and poster and oral presenters get this year’s fabulous t-shirt.
Faculty members and postdocs can also sign up to judge presentations
Everyone can volunteer in a number of ways.
Slots available Monday, April 30 through Wednesday, May 2:
- Registration desk: Check in participants, hand out judging packets, and help direct attendees
- Oral Session Moderator: Keep sessions running smoothly by introducing each speaker and keeping track of time
- Laptop Wrangler: Make sure that laptops for oral presentations are ready to go before each session
Slots available Monday only:
- Poster wrangler: Check-in poster presenters and direct them to their display board. Help transition from the Poster Session A to Session B by taking down Session A posters and putting up Session B posters for display
