Robin Champieux is working on grassroots cultural change that can help build an open science university. As the research engagement and open science librarian at OHSU, one of her goals is to facilitate open data, open science techniques, and workflows to help researchers succeed.
Robin Champieux is featured on “Collaborative research,” the July 31, 2018 OHSU Week podcast. She talks about what open science is and what it can mean for research at OHSU. See transcript — login required.
She and her colleagues provide services and organize events that question assumptions and introduce practices that enable the creation, reproducibility, accessibility, and impact of digital scientific materials.
The ultimate goal? To build a better science in general. Champieux’s passion and interests include the success of early career researchers and how open science can impact issues of equity, diversity and inclusion.
