The 2018 MedTech Alliance Showcase, hosted by Technology Transfer and Business Development, highlights the most promising early-stage breakthroughs at OHSU. This year, four inventors will have 10 minutes to pitch their inventions, each with the goal of advancing their innovation for commercial use. Here are the featured technologies for the 2018 showcase:
- Targeting a DNA repair exonuclease to provoke anti-tumor immune responses

- BoneMimetic — A biomimetic platform for disease modeling, drug screening, regenerative medicine

- Hydrasense: A new novel device for hydration assessment in multiple care settings
Presenters: Matthew Hansen, M.D., M.C.R., associate professor, and David Sheridan, M.D., assistant professor, both in the Department of Emergency Medicine, School of Medicine
- Novel mouth sealer to decrease oral leaking and improve compliance with nasal CPAP for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)
