New award to support early-stage technologies

Technology Transfer and Business Development is now offering a technology development award to support promising early-stage technologies. All new inventions and technologies disclosed to TTBD are eligible for the award.

With this new investment in early-stage technologies, TTBD is expanding and strengthening the continuum of funding available to OHSU innovators — from disclosure to programs like the Biomedical Innovation Program, a collaboration of the Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute and TTBD.

Contact techmgmt@ohsu.edu to find out more about disclosure, the first step in the commercialization process.

This award of up to $10,000 will be given every other month to support further development of a recently disclosed technology. TTBD will select the awardee based on novelty and market opportunity, as well as the initial data provided with the technology disclosure.

To be eligible, all you need to do is disclose your new inventions/technologies to TTBD. All OHSU staff and employees are eligible.
