Learn about OHSU resources that can help you build partnerships with industry partners.

Andrew Watson of OHSU Technology Transfer and Aditi Martin of OHSU Collaborations and Entrepreneurship will provide an introduction to these offices and discuss specific resources available to members of the OHSU community.

Topics will include: Building effective relationships with industry partners, assessing the value researchers bring to industry, and considerations around new technology and intellectual property in clinical studies. Come with your questions on the industry partnership process.

Find out how Research Pharmacy Services can help move a study from a concept or sponsor-driven protocol to a reality. 

Brooke Bernard, PharmD, will discuss Research Pharmacy Services’ role, operations, updates to their structure and policies, as well as where to find important information for clinical research studies involving medications.

Bernard will also discuss the difference between inpatient and outpatient needs, smartsets/ordersets, beacon plans, EPIC encounters, and the challenges a study team may face during the life of a study. Also on the agenda is how to navigate the Bridge site for infusions or chemotherapy, and the OHSU systems and personnel that can help researchers achieve their objectives.

Clinical Research United 🔑 provides a forum for creating a unified OHSU clinical research community, sharing and developing best practices and building a collective voice for all who engage in clinical research at OHSU. The CRU initiative is spearheaded by a team in the Clinical Research Services Office.
