We have all been exploring new ways of accomplishing just about everything, including gathering together and sharing our work—two essential components of Research Week, OHSU’s annual celebration of our research community.
The scientific presentations, a hallmark of Research Week, will be hosted on Webex on Friday, June 12. Mark your calendars for of the final events of 2020 Research Week!
Select events were streamed during the originally scheduled days of 2020 Research Week, May 4 to 6: Kalisha Bonds’ keynote address, a BioRender webinar, and plenary sessions on clinical research. You can watch the recording of the keynote (password: EyHZJ7r2).
2020 Research Week Webex presentations will follow a format similar to the oral presentations of previous years: a ten-minute presentation, followed by time for questions. Presentations will be grouped by topic and scheduled together in separate WebEx rooms (a fun and very useful Webex feature).
The presentations will be recorded, and you’ll be able to view them on WebEx after the event. Additionally, some presenters are choosing to save their presentations to the OHSU Library’s Institutional Repository.
Watch this space for more information as we draw nearer to the event.
