It’s not too early to start planning for OHSU Research Week 2021, which will be held as a virtual event this year, from May 3-6.
The annual celebration of OHSU’s research mission, Research Week provides a venue for researchers from across OHSU to meet, talk and spark collaborations. There will be lots of presentations, a Students’ Choice Keynote, the ever-popular Clinical Research Day, an Innovation Showcase and much, much more.
Highlights for 2021 include talks by Mike Lauer, director of National Institutes of Health Extramural Research, and Kelly Monk, co-director and senior scientist, Vollum Institute.
Submit your presentation abstract by March 26 using OHSU’s Competitive Application Portal.
Leading up to Research Week, the OHSU Library and Office of Postdoctoral Affairs will host a series of hands-on workshops to help you prepare. The first workshop, on Feb. 23, is Abstract Writing 101. Students, trainees, faculty and research staff — all OHSU community members — are invited to submit abstracts for Research Week.
