Each year in May, OHSU investigators present their work to fellow researchers and to OHSU community members from all missions. Dozens of presentations at Research Week — from bench science to translational and clinical research — offer lots of opportunities to learn about the breadth of research being conducted right now at OHSU.
Presenters are trainees, faculty, research-ranked employees and other OHSU researchers. This is an opportunity to gain experience presenting their work, share ideas with colleagues and potential collaborators, and generally strengthen the research community.
Virtual, but …
“The poster presentations will be virtual, but this will not be a screen of squares with talking heads. It’s going to be a very interactive experience.”— Leire Abalde Atristain
Pre-pandemic, the poster sessions were packed, festive, catered events at the OHSU Library — truly the research event of the year. It was a great chance to meet and visit with researchers.
A conference platform will prevent the poster presentations from being a screen of talking heads — keep your eyes on this space for more information.
