What:
Supports development of clinical and translational investigators to conduct interdisciplinary research; in addition to salary support and funds for research activities, scholars can access additional support services through OCTRI and the Human Investigations Program; program is funded through NCATS

Cancer  St. Baldrick’s Foundation 2022 Spring Cycle Grants
What:
Funding for three cancer research awards: International Scholar Awards, which train researchers from low- and middle- income countries (as classified by the World Bank) to prepare them to fill specific needs in an area of childhood cancer research upon returning to their country of origin; Scholar (Career Development) Awards, which help develop the independent research of highly qualified individuals still early in their careers; and Research Grant Awards, which are for specific one-year research projects which are hypothesis driven and may be either laboratory, clinical, or epidemiological in nature
Who should apply:
Cancer researchers, specifically early-career researchers for International and Career Development Scholars; International Scholars are typically junior faculty who have been in their position for less than five years and Career Development Scholars must be full-time faculty who have held their position for less than seven years. MultidisciplinaryCell Press Rising Black Scientists Award
What:
Supports talented and motivated young Black scientists by providing funds to support professional development
Who should apply: Any Black scientists at American institutions at the undergraduate, graduate, or postdoctoral levels are encouraged to apply
Award: $10,000 in award funds and $500 in travel funds plus complementary registration for an Elsevier conference of their choice that occurs within two years of the award announcement

Multidisciplinary Doris Duke Charitable Foundation Physician Scientist Fellowship
What:

What: 
Supports basic researchers and physician scientists who catalyze research in basic and biomedical sciences, plant biology, evolutionary biology, biophysics, chemical biology, biomedical engineering, and computational biology; applicants can establish eligibility now via the HHMI Application and Review website, and full applications will be available there Dec. 2022

What: Funding to support pre-award activities that advance the preparation of high-quality grant or contract applications
