Internal Opportunities 

Cancer  Kuni Foundation Imagination Grants for Cancer Research
What: One-year grants intended to fulfill an unmet need or to advance efforts in the pursuit of impactful and innovative cancer research; can be used to support an existing program in order to broaden or strengthen the work or take the research to the next critical phase, or to fund a new project with an emphasis on the components that will enable the launch of a new project
Who should apply: OHSU researchers with a faculty appointment; the Foundation’s grants are directed toward organizations located in and directly serving residents of Oregon and Washington. They also support collaborative, multi-institutional efforts when the work is being led by researchers based in Oregon or Washington, and resubmissions are discouraged
Award: Up to $75,000 including 10 percent indirect costs/up to one year
How to apply: Imagination Grants require internal coordination because the Kuni Foundation is on the President’s List, and the OHSU Foundation must submit all proposals on behalf of OHSU in Kuni’s portal. If you are interested in applying, submit a Notice of Intent form by Monday, Jan. 9. Proposal templates will be sent to applicants beginning the week of Jan. 9.
