Cancer ‖ Kuni Foundation Imagination Grants for Cancer Research
What: One-year grants intended to fulfill an unmet need or to advance efforts in the pursuit of impactful and innovative cancer research; can be used to support an existing program in order to broaden or strengthen the work or take the research to the next critical phase, or to fund a new project with an emphasis on the components that will enable the launch of a new project
Who should apply: OHSU researchers with a faculty appointment; the Foundation’s grants are directed toward organizations located in and directly serving residents of Oregon and Washington. They also support collaborative, multi-institutional efforts when the work is being led by researchers based in Oregon or Washington, and resubmissions are discouraged
Award: Up to $75,000 including 10 percent indirect costs/up to one year
How to apply: Imagination Grants require internal coordination because the Kuni Foundation is on the President’s List, and the OHSU Foundation must submit all proposals on behalf of OHSU in Kuni’s portal.
