LeAnn Michaels receives 2022 Outstanding Research Coordinator Award

LeAnn Michaels, director of clinical trials for Oregon Rural Practice-based Research Network, received the 2022 Outstanding Research Coordinator Award by the North American Primary Care Research Group.

The award recognizes exceptional contributions in primary care research in a central support role. Michaels’ work extends from recruiting clinics to contributing to study design. She is involved in projects from conceptualization to dissemination.

Michaels’ significant contributions have included an important role in supporting the creation and success of the Meta-network Learning and Research Center, or Meta-LARC, a consortium of practice-based research networks that provides a robust infrastructure for managing large clinical trials and practice transformation initiatives.

See ORPRN’s website for Miriam Wolf’s piece on LeAnn Michaels and the 2022 Outstanding Research Coordinator Award.
