Multidisciplinary NSF Alan T. Waterman Award
What:
Recognizes an outstanding young researcher in any field of science or engineering supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation
Who should apply: U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are 40 years of age or younger OR not be more than 10 years beyond receipt of their Ph.D. by December 31st of the year they are nominated and have demonstrated exceptional individual achievements in scientific or engineering research of sufficient quality, originality, innovation and significant impact on the field to place them at the forefront of their peers
Award: A medal and a grant of $1 million over a five-year period for scientific research or advanced study in the mathematical, physical, biological, engineering, social or other sciences at an institution of their choice

Multidisciplinary Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Engagement Awards
What:

Neuroscience BRAINet Postdoctoral and Student Travel Award
What: Provides funding for two travel awards (one to a graduate student and one to a postdoctoral scholar) to attend the Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting in support of BRAINet’s mission to foster awareness and support for OHSU neuroscience research by educating the public and engaging in community interaction

Neuroscience Oregon Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center Research Scholars
What: Support for junior investigators as they pursue research careers in Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias (ADRD), and normal brain aging; funding provides discretionary support for career development, equipment, salary support, or other expenses and includes an educational program, individualized mentored opportunities and access to senior-level faculty for consultation and mentoring support

Multidisciplinary ‖ OCTRI Mobile Apps for Clinical Studies (MACS)
What: 
Funding to leverage new the REDCap functionality MyCap to create mobile apps that allow clinical study participants to report outcomes/data via a smartphone; the program aims to help fill the pipeline for BIP Digital Health by allowing PIs to conduct preliminary research and obtain user experience data
Who should apply: PIs who meet OHSU Principal Investigator requirements and want to create a mobile app for clinical or commercial purposes

Multidisciplinary OHSU Fellowship for Diversity in Research
What: Funds researchers with the goal of increasing the diversity of the community of scholars devoted to academic scientific research at OHSU
Who should apply: Individuals requiring mentored postdoctoral training in order to achieve their career goals; priority is given to applicants who have obtained their PhD  (or are soon to defend) and are not currently OHSU trainees (e.g., graduate students or postdoctoral trainees); applicants should be within the first two years of their position at OHSU
Award: Provides salary for one year and $5,000 for professional development

Multidisciplinary OHSU School of Medicine Exploratory Research Seed Grants
