What:
Supports basic science, ideally with potential translational applications; examples of current research areas of interest include: immunology, microbiome, genomics, structural biology, cellular physiology, and neuroscience
Who should apply:
Open to investigators who are performing basic scientific research with translational potential; institutions are limited to four applications per cycle

What: Supports pilot projects performed by trainee researchers on Botanicals Enhancing Neurological and Functional Resilience in Aging (BENFRA); awardees will work closely with the BENFRA Center at OHSU
